New Tornado Warning
* NWS Jackson has issued a Tornado Warning for Lawrence County. This is a second storm, different from the one that prompted the earlier tornado warning. This will pass just north of Monticello.* UPDATE: The first thunderstorm with a tornadic potential is approaching Prentiss. This storm shows very strong signs of rotation. If you are reading this and live near Prentiss, take cover immediately - basement or lowest floor of your home. If you don't have a basement, get in the lowest interior bathroom, hallway or closet in your home.
