This is the GFS computer model's plot of 24 hour precipitation...This rain would fall between 6:00pm Friday and 6:00pm Saturday. This suggests the distinct possibility of flooding problems along the Pearl, Noxubee, Tombigbee and Black Warrior River basins. We'll be watching this potential closely, but if you live in flood-prone areas of east Mississippi and west Alabama, be prepared for the possibility of flooding Saturday.
