* The second tropical depression of the season has formed off the coast of North Carolina. This has the potential to become a tropical storm later today or tonight...* Here's the official advisory from the National Hurricane Center:

* This will not impact Mississippi or Alabama, but could bring heavy rain and winds to the east coast of the United States.
* This could signal an increase in activity. We still anticipate an active season, despite the slow start. I think August and September will probably be very active.
