No Need For Panic
* I've received quite a few phone calls and e-mails from people who seem a bit "spooked" about the severe weather threat tomorrow evening. I'd like to say up front that there's no need to panic or be afraid. Right now, this is only a threat - a threat that has not materialized yet. And, if you have a way to get warnings and a safe place to go, it's almost a certainty that you'll be fine.* At the same time, I do think you should be aware of the threat - and stay close to a good source of weather information tomorrow...
* This space will be frequently updated throughout the event, so be sure to check back for updates...
* Speaking of updates, I'll post a big one this evening before 9 pm.
