Midweek Update

* I hope you'll forgive the infrequent posting of late - these double shifts are making it difficult to find time to post many thoughts. I will try my best to do a better job of posting next week.

* Rain Chances? We will deal with some rain in here fairly soon, the big question is when and how much...At this point, the heaviest rain and best chance of rain will come on Sunday night and into early Monday. However, rain chances will begin as early as Friday, although many places could stay dry throughout Friday and Saturday.

* Next Week: The pattern next week is full of uncertainty, but we do know a few things. First, a very cold Arctic airmass is going to slide into the eastern half of the United States. Secondly, there will be some moisture around the Gulf. The big question is how far north does the moisture get, and exactly how does the cold air interact with the moisture. Too early for specific answers, but keep it in the back of your mind that parts of Mississippi and Alabama could possibly deal with some wintry weather at some point next week...

* Vacation - I feel like I've gone on 10 vacations in the last month, but I'm heading off again. This trip will take me to Gatlinburg, TN and the Smoky Mountains. This is a yearly trip that I take with some lifelong friends...Should be a fun time; sadly, no snow is in the forecast. I'll post some pics from the trip next week when I return.

P.S. if you take one of the roads to your right off the stretch between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg(going to gatlinburg) i think it's the second road follow it all the way to the dead end it's about 3 or 4 miles a man has a huge camel in a fence back there. kinda crazy i know but it makes for great conversation, he let my husband and me get a pic with the camel.

It may be the same camels they are using in one of the shows in Pigeon Forge
