Burr! Cold is Coming!

A very cold and dry airmass is heading our way! High pressure off to our west will begin to shift eastward throughout the day tomorrow and northerly winds will absolutely usher in colder temperatures. Afternoon highs tomorrow will really struggle to get out of the mid-upper 40's.

There is already a Freeze Watch in effect for Wayne and Choctaw counties for tomorrow night as overnight lows will bottom out in the lower 20's. With the tightening pressure gradient, expect winds to pick up as well throughout the evening. We could be looking at wind chills in the lower teens in some places. It will be very important to bundle up for the Tuesday morning commute to work or bundle the little ones up as they wait for the bus!

Have a good night! See everyone Friday!
