Demopolis Damage Reports
* We are receiving reports of a possible tornado in the city of Demopolis....The reports now center around damage to the Villas Apartment complex and near the hospital...These reports are early, so we are working to verify exactly what's happened tonight.* There was no tornado warning for this storm, and the radar presentation on this storm while over Marengo County was not terribly impressive...Expect the unexpected.

I would not say unexpected since this area was under a risk of severe weather and my guess as to no warning..it seems this storm was not big enough to be seen by Mobile/B'ham radars AND there has been no problems in Mississippi.
Reported by EMS staff - no one was transported to hospital for care. Please announce on station as we are receiveing many calls regarding transport of injuries. Please inform public to not come to hospital @ this time. Again, EMS staff did respond to damaged areas, but no inujuries transported to hospital
Clarification - if there are any injuries to anyone during this incident, we do want them to report to hospital for assessment and care. Reports of many people coming to hospital to seek information only.
