* You win some, and you lose some. The person those words are attributed to must have been in the business of forecasting weather in Mississippi and Alabama. Our forecast reflected decreasing clouds today, as a front pushed through. We believed moisture would be too limited to produce much, if any, rain. Funny how the weather didn't get our opinion, huh?* The showers are storms are moving eastward, and will depart our area later today. Despite hearing some thunder, do not anticipate severe weather. I suppose there could be some small hail in some of the storms, due to the cold air aloft (and relatively cool/dry air near the surface as well). But, the chance of widespread severe weather is almost zero.
