Severe Threat:
Right now we are watching a line of strong to severe thunderstorms moving across South Central Mississippi. This line is moving off to the north northeast, and it could begin to affect WTOK's western and southwestern counties over the next hour or so. These storms have a history of producing winds in excess of 70 m.p.h. around Brookhaven, MS and a few trees were blown down in that area as well. A severe thunderstorm watch continues for Jones County in our viewing area until 4:00 p.m. Stay tuned for further updates...Labels: Severe Weather
