Fantastic Weather...

* For my personal preference, today was tough to beat. A nice, cold night makes sleeping even more comfortable, and the weather warmed up nicely into the afternoon. If it can't snow, it might as well be warm - and that's exactly what we've seen today.

* It sure is cold up north. Many parts of the Great Lakes region and northern Plains didn't crack zero today...Brrrr!

* The new "EF scale" is now operational. This is an adjusted version of the Fujita tornado intensity scale, and will now be used to rate the damage caused by tornadoes. Read more by clicking below:

* Weather will continue to be fairly tame over the next few days....Warm and sunny tomorrow, a few showers possible Thursday, then turning cooler for Friday and Saturday. Rain returns to the forecast by late Saturday and into Sunday.

* I had a GREAT time visiting with my friends out at Northeast Elementary today! The students were great, and I was quite surprised to see they have a broadcast facility in their elementary school. I was able to do a quick weather broadcast in front of their green chromakey wall...Fun stuff!
